An Umbellifer (a member of the Carrot family), Burnet Saxifrage is a tallish, tough plant, but with fairly delicate white flowers. The upper leaves are smaller, more narrow and more finely divided than the lower ones.

In flower from late spring to early autumn, usually on calcareous grasslands.
