Charlock is a Brassica, bristly with bright yellow flowers from mid spring to late autumn. Usually found beside footpaths and in arable fields, especially on the margins. Can be confused at a distance with escaped oil-seed rape, but is generally smaller. In flower from mid spring to late autumn.
