Slender Speedwell
 

 

At first glance the Slender Speedwell is very similar to the Common Field Speedwell, but the flowers are slightly larger, are more mauvish blue and have less prominent veins. The leaves are kidney shaped.

In flower during spring and early summer, often forming mats in grassy places, especially on lawns.
