Greater
Birdsfoot Trefoil |
Greater Birdsfoot Trefoil is similar to Common Birdsfoot Trefoil, but usually taller with larger and darker green leaves. Also, the flowers, a rich dull yellow, are more numerous in each cluster. Finally, the stems are hollow, which is a useful distinguishing feature if in doubt. Fairly common except in the far north in damp, grassy places and marshes during the summer months.
