The
images have been divided into galleries based on the locations
shown on the map below. Click on any name on the map to view
the gallery, ie on one of the locks on either the Thames or the
Kennet, on one of the other two rivers, on one of the county
names or on Reading itself.
Alternatively, click on on of the buttons on the left of the page.
Each gallery has a number of thumbnails, which by double clicking will bring
up a larger, but low resolution version of the image. Note that it is not
possible to display the images at their highest quality without compromising
the speed at which they are downloaded and the number of images that can
be shown, but we do have higher quality versions available if needed.
Each image is accompanied by a description and a link to a map showing the
approximate location at which the photograph was taken. The maps
are interactive in that tools are available to zoom in or out if need be.

| There is as yet no on-line system available to purchase copies of these images,
but if you are keen to do so in whatever form, please get in touch through our "Contact
Us" page and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out. We also have
local maps and postcards available that are based on these photographs and details
of these can be found on our main site (see "Maps and Cards"). Also,
