Crossing the bridge from Goring, the Streatley bank of the river is the site the Swan hotel, a 15th century former coaching inn, seen here on the left.

In the middle of the picture is the permanently moored Magdalen College Oxford Barge, built in 1886 and now restored and used as a conference centre. As with barges of other Oxford colleges, it was originally used to meet the needs of rowers of the time, with changing rooms, bar and grandstand all in one.
