| St Patrick's Stream is a peculiarity, a short lived waterway that is fed by the River Thames. After a short distance it becomes a tributory of the River Loddon before the Loddon in turn almost immediately feeds back into the Thames. By diverting along this route rather than continuing along the Thames, Shiplake lock can be avoided. Find the location on an interactive map. |
