The 11th century St Botolph's church is a small, rather isolated church serving no obvious community apart from the nearby Swyncombe House. Despite this, it has become well known over the years for the profusion of snowdrops to be found outside. Every February there is a 'Snowdrop Sunday' with a special service to mark the occasion.
