| The
attractive village of Hambleden, about a mile from the lock on
the Thames that it gives its name to, is popular both with visitors
and with film crews, mainly due to it widely being regarded
as the quintessential English village. Nestling at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, the style of architecture is typical of many other villages in the area. The photograph shows the village pump with the village shop behind it. Find the location on an interactive map. |
