Are you sitting comfortably? In 1994, in consultation with local residents, Reading Borough Council carried out extensive remedial work to the pond and its surroundings. By summer 1995 the area north of the pond had been cleared and seeded and EGRA were happy to contribute a generous amount to a seat for use by local residents.
