EGRA has long-standing associations with St Barnabas Church, the local
parish church. The AGMs are held in its hall, which was the original church.
In 1996 the roof tiles were completely replaced and a financial contribution
was made to that. Recently the church has been embarking on an ambitious
project to extend the building. EGRA is only too happy to donate to the
funds and a lettered brick will commemorate this.
In 2002 we were invited to have a stall at their annual garden party in
aid of the Daynes Educational Trust, and have been regulars there ever
since.
